What makes Peterson & Peterson different?
There are many attorneys to choose from. Expertise is critical, of course., but we also strive to do a few things that we would expect if we needed an attorney. A few examples include: |
|
Annotated Drafts "Translate" Legalese to English
We insert easy to understand explanations in all the estate planning documents we prepare. Take a look at an sample page from one of our trusts. The annotations are boxes with blue and sometimes red text.
|
Husband & Wife Synergies
You are likely to meet with both Peterson & Peterson attorneys, at least initially. We analyze and strategize together about most client matters. The results are nearly always greater than the sum of the parts, as we each see things from different angles and have different, but complementary skills. |
Direct Attorney Contact -- No Staff
You talk with Peterson or you talk with Peterson. In other words, your attorney will be the one to return your calls and e-mails, meet with you in person, draft your documents, and even prepare your account statements. In other words, all communications are directly between attorney and client without the static that compounds when someone else takes your message or drafts your documents.
There are tradeoffs with everything, but we have tried both ways and believe that our current approach works best for us. O.K., making copies and licking stamps really aren't our favorite tasks, but you won't be charged attorney rates for anything but legal advice, so an attorney-only office is great for our clients. |
